Michael J. Windsor

Michael Windsor is a painter, focusing mostly on large abstract works and illustrative oil paintings. In his work, he tries to capture his moods and emotions.

To create his art, Mike uses both vibrant and bold brush strokes, combined with subtle geometric shapes and soft palettes with punches of bold color.

His work is influenced by artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat and Claude Monet.

For 23 year, Mike has worked in the publishing industry as art director for Penguin Random House and Simon & Schuster, designing book jackets for renowned authors such as Margaret Atwood, John Grisham, Dan Brown, Irvine Welsh, Peter Ackroyd, Sophie Mackintosh, Walter Mosley etc.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from School of Visual Arts in New York, NY.
